X factor Auditions Brisbane, DONE.

// May 22nd, 2011 // Blog

What can I say, it’s been an interesting two days. Long days, may I say? We have definitely captured some amazing talent in Brisbane. And also some very strange, funny, and quirky, talent (if you can call it that!). Who’d a thought telling people they were terrible could be so much fun?!? Can’t wait for you guys to see what fun and chaos we created at the X Factor auditions. It sucks cuz you have to see it to believe it! But one thing I can say is you will NOT be disappointed. Scary Spice came out in full effect! Brisbane Entertainment Center was packed full of people booing, cheering, and singing along. It’s amazing how long you can hold your pee, as a pregnant woman, when you got work to do. Haha.

  17. Out with the girlies to watch xfactor auditions at Brisbane on 22/05 Sat eve for the second year running. We had such a fab time. Some very talented singers this year, especially the ladies “‘of course”‘. Lovely to see everyone having such a good time. Mel, your daughter was just sooo cute, it added such a special touch to the evening her talking very confidently, how beautiful was that? would of really liked to get a picture of all the judges with us together, but had a great time anyway. Great comments Mel and sooo true!! Ronan also on top form!!! WHAT A NIGHT!!

  18. Misjudged and Angry says:

You are seriously one of the most weakest, rudest and ugliest people i have ever met
why dont you keep pounding on the makeup to hide your ugly self and pop out some more babies to different fathers
you said i sound like i get strangled?
well, bitch, i’m a fucken better singer than you will ever be.
please get the fuck of australian x factor.

    • kamola says:

u are a loser hihi i love u are not good singer i was so happy that u lose

      • Debbi says:

Why is everyone being so hateful just because the judges didn’t put you through to bootcamp? They have to look at a lot of factors before putting someone through. Its not just the Australian market its the International market as well. I can honestly say that we saw alot of acts that thought they were good when they weren’t. If you don’t want to be let down and judged, then don’t audition for the show. You step out onto that stage knowing you are going to get judged, bad or good, so don’t start telling the judges they are crap just because you didn’t make it past your 3 mins of fame.

  19. Shellass says:

Misjudted and Angry: Get over it…. I was there, you weren’t that good….. You should just sit in the audience beside me and go through the pain I went through when I listened to you sing…… GO SCARY SPICE! YOU WERE GREAT!!!

  20. shellie says:

hey mel i was applauld by the way you judged from the moment my sister gal walked on stage you hated her before she even said a word then when she put u in your place well it was all over for her thought it was about judging talent not looks you dont belong on the aussie x factor …………

  21. jackie says:

u stink u should go back to england & entertain the kids that was the only audience u had how dare u tell people that they scare u; look at yourself mel;broken down artist that u are

  22. shellie says:

p.s i got to watch ur face back stage and if it wasnt for the spice girls you wouldnt even be known you cant judge for crap let alone sing …….

  23. Kayla says:

I honestly think people should give Mel a break. I was there on Saturday and she did a fantastic job along with the other judges. Ronan isn’t Australia – should he go back to Ireland?
Mel has her professional opinion and she gave it along with the other judges. xo

    • shellie says:

well darling i was there 2 back stage watching her face every second on tv and i can tell you that she didnt like the act from the moment she walked on stage the whole crowd and the crew backstaged loved her not mel b and ronan but i spose thats cause there pussy pop artists not hard rock …..

  24. jackie says:

well kayla we were there sunday not saturday mel b was just rude read her wall she gets off on being so nasty to people she deserves to get it back ; neither ronan keating nor mel b showed any sign of being good judges , they r there to judge peoples talent not there looks; they should both look in the mirror & realise that they r not oil paintings , nor are the still entertaining i would call that burntout wouldnt you

  25. Debbi says:

It was fantastic to meet you at the Melbourne Auditions. Thanks so much for having a photo with me. Its fantastic that you are apart of the judging panel this year. You are definately an asset to the show, and I have agreed with most of the comments you have said about contestants. I loved it when Angel spoke to us all in the audience, she is so cute. Can’t wait to see what group you get to mentor. Great to have you in Oz xx

  26. Debbi says:

Kayla and Jackie…. There is nothing wrong with the way that Ronan or Mel judge the acts. I would much rather be told the truth about a performance than be given false hope. If Ronan wasn’t a good mentor/judge, then how come he won X-Factor last year? Give the judges a break… I was at 4 of the auditions and there was definately alot of acts that shouldn’t of even been there to audition they were horrible!!! Infact we were so relieved when the judges stopped the music half the time so we didn’t have to listen to the awful singing. It isn’t easy sitting up there and having to listen and then judge everyone that walks out onto the stage.
